To meet the requirements of environmental protection on the icebreaker is installed:

  • Incinerator ship-generated waste SP-50 capacity of 50 kg /h of debris and 50 kg / h of oil waste.
  • Two automated separator sump type and two bilge water separator with ballasts mechanical filters in the drainage system
  • Five automated systems for cleaning and disinfection of wastewater type EOS-5 performance by 5 cubic meters / day and six automated installations of the EOS- 15 capacity of 15 cubic meters / day of wastewater system.

As a life-saving appliance on the icebreaker used two private rescue plastic motor boat and inflatable life rafts PSN-10 mK, there is also a working tow boat. There is a range of systems and devices, including the hangar, providing operation of the helicopter.
